ot Cambridge, Minn., were mar
ried Sunday, Sept. 17, at S o'clock
in the evening, at the Roseburg
Seventh-day Adventist church.
Elder L. L. Huntington, pastor,
performed the impressive cere
mony in the presence of about 200
guests.
The bride, given in marriage by
her father, Mr. Norman Nelson,
wore a lovely gown of white satin
and a floor length veil Her beau
tiful formal bouquet was of red
rosebuds and white gladioli,
hacked by white tulle in the shape
of a fan, and tied with white satin
libbons.
She was attended by Miss
Ruth Lindquist, of Corvallis, as
maid of honor, by Mrs Ruth Mo
reno, of Roseburg, Miss Shirley
Paulson, of Ashland, and Miss
Donna Mae Nelson, of Roseburg.
as bridesmaids. They were dressed
alike in pastel colors of orchid,
yellow, green and pink. Each car
ried a formal bouquet that har
monized with the color of her gown.
Little Cheryl Munroe, of Roseburg,
was flower girl and young Leon
Henifin, of Corvallis carried the
minister's Bible. Leon is a
nephew ot the bridegroom.

Following the reception Mr. and
Mra. Parks left for a honeymoon
trip that took them to San Fran
cisco where they plan to make
their home for a time. Delbert
Parks expects to take up dental
training there next school year.
Both are former students of Whit
man College where Darlene studied
secretarial science and Delbert
took pre-dental work.
For her going away outfit Mra.
Parks wore a dark blue suit with
matching accessories.
