If Census Overlooked You Harold Hickerson, Roseburg chamber of commerce secretary manager, issued a plea today to all city residents who were not counted in the 1950 census to contact his office. Not convinced by the prelimin ary report from the Bureau of Census that Roseburg's population is a mere 8,205, chamber of com merce and city officials have con tinued checking in an effort to locate persons who were not count ed. Hickerson Raid "at least 50 persons" have already indicated they were not included in the city's population count. The criticism started vesterdav at an O. & C. advisory board meeting, when board member Floyd Hart called the new reeula- tions "inequitable, inadequate, and unworkable."
