The family was reunited for the first time in a number of years. i Mr. and Mrs. Davis were mar ried in Roseburg May 16, 1900 and have resided most of the time in Douglas county. They made their home for five years in Fallon, Nev. ' '' , A basket dinner was served at noon to nearly one hundred rela tives and friends who attended from Roseburg, Dillard. Elkton, Oakland, Drain, Cottage Grove, Eugene, Florence, Reedsport and the bay area in California. '. The afternoon was spent visiting. ' Highlight of the past week was the wedding Sunday afternoon, May 21 of Miss Frederica Hamilton to Claude Hicks at the First Presby terian church. The double ring cere mony was read by the Rcy. W. A. MacArthur, pastor of the First Methodist church. Mr. and Mrs. Frederic Hamilton are parents of the bride. Mr. Hicks is the son of Mrs. Jess Hicks and nephew of Earl Benedick all of Roseburg. Baskets of white gladioli, white snapdragons and pink stocks ar ranged by the Fern Florists, form ed . the background for the wed ding party. The candelabra were lighted by Sidney Moon and a tall cathedral candle stood before the altar. Mrs. Homer Grow provided in cidental music before the ceremony and played traditional wedding marches as the wedding party de scended the aisle. Ralph Church sang '.'I Love Thee" by Grieg and "Because." The bride entered the church on the arm of her father. She selected a gown of white organdy with em broidered bodice and high neck line which buttoned to the waist. She wore elbow length white or gandy mitts and a fingertip veil which fell from a coronet of seed pearls, Her shower bouquet was fashioned of white roses and ste phanotis. The veil had been worn by her sister, Mrs. Eugene Powell. Miss Mary Ellen McKay of Port land, sorority sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Glenn Miller and Miss Marian Slattery of Roseburg; Miss Pat Kirby of Eugene and Mrs. Burke Freeman of Oswego. All wore pastel summer frocks and carried bouquets of white Esther Reed daisies tied with ribbons to match their gowns. Sheer white nylon gloves and ribbons in their hair harmonizing with their gowns completed their costumes. Little Susan Gail Powell, niece of the bride, was flower girl. She wore a pink organdy frock and carried white Esther Reed dais ies tied with pink ribbons. William R. Chalmers of Rose burg was best man. Ushers were Del McKay, Ernest Barker, Jr., Sidney Moon of Roseburg, and Ro bert Norton of Corvallis. For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Hamilton wore a pearl gray faille ensemble with black accessories with a shoulder corsage of white baby orchids.
