The Election followed dinner at the Del Rey Cafe at Winchester. Other officers are Mrs. R. R. League, vice president; Mrs. Claude Kesner, secretary; M-rs. Robert Hansen, treasurer; Mrs. W. H. The Tenmile Ladies club met Wednesday at the club house. A potluck luncheon was enjoyed and I mothers of the community who were 75 years or older were hon ored at a special table for Moth er's Day. Younger members of the club served them. The table was decorated with a bouquet of spring flowers. The room was decorated with pastel streamers, sweet peas and rhododendron. The tables were cov ered with pastel covers and the room lighted with candles and lamps. After the dessert was set-ed, Mrs. Elsie Coffer announced the program. A welcome address was given by Mrs. L. W. Tyler. Bev erly Nichols gave, the girls' res ponse. The Sunday School teach ers were introduced to the guests. The Okiya Campfire girls, spon sored by the Junior Division, sang a group of songs. Miss Jewett read "If for Girls". A tableau was pre sented with Mrs. Leonard Nesseth, Mary Elyse Unrath, Alice Dewar. with the song, "My Mothers' Bible" by Joan McCoy, Nina Pfeffer and Marie Barker. Gail Currier gave a reading. "The Old Rugged Cross" was sung by Sharon Titus, and Carol Ann Sperber. Trunette Phillips sang "Whispering Hope." "Mother & Home" was sung by Sharon Strode, and Barbara Wil bur. Following this group of songs, Lila Naas read from Proverbs and lead a candle lighting service with Mrs.. Trudy Briggs as the candle lighter and the following girls can dle bearers: Anna Jane Davidson, Eulalia Olds, Lois Hess, Joane Blanchard, Barbara Bailey, Mari lyn West, and Lois Wallace. The program closed with a prayer by Mrs. Kenneth Knox. The Okiya Campfire Group, led by Mrs. Miller, were guests of the evening. There were 108 mothers , and daughters served.
