April S, at six-thirty o'clock at the
Legion home with Jane Stephens,

Wilene Barton and Biol a Bates
Those attending are asked to bring

Daniel R. Dimick will be guest
speaker on "Children Behind
Bars." Attorney Dimick was
graduated from University of Ore
gon school of law in 1937. He later
practised law in Washington D.
C, Portland, New York City and
Seattle and came to Roscburg in
April 1948. He is a member of the
law firm of Winston and Dimick.
During the war years he received
a commission in the Navy Air
Forces as an intelligence officer
and was discharged in 1948 with
the rank of lieutenant commander.
He spent the greater part of the
war years in the Pacific Theatre
of Operattions.

POTLUCK LUNCHEON
The Stedfast class of the Presby
terian Sunday school met Thurs
day in the church parlors for a
potluck luncheon. The devotions
were led by Mrs. Cunningham.
Mrs. Travis reported on "The Un
know Lineage," a chapter in the
study book on Japan. Mrs. R. R.
Clarke gave a very interesting ac
count of her recent trip to Mexico.
Following the program, the re
gular business meeting was held
and it was voted to give do
nation to the Red Cross and the
Woman's Society of the church
with discussions of other matters
pertaining to the class.
