Luncheon was served from ta bles, centered with daffodils and Ull lighted tapers. Mrs. Lloyd Wis assisted the hostesses. Irish stories were told for roll call. Mrs. Lloyd Pinston gave a talk on the topographic climate and resources of Ireland, and Mrs. Hugh Warner described the flax industry and the art of weaving Irish linens. A collection was taken for the penny art fund. By a unanimous ballot, the present officers were reelected to serve for 19501951. They are Bernice Merk, president. Nilda Wise, vice-president; Mrs. J. N. Sparks, second vice-president, Anna Kingery, secretary-treasurer. Plans for guest day, March 16th were completed and will be held at the Yoncalla Methodist church. The Drain Study club will be in vited, and members may each in vite a friend. Mrs. J. R. Gault, who is president of the second district of Oregon federated clubs, will be guest speaker. Social committee in charge of luncheon and arrange ments, are Mrs. W. R. Cabinesi, Mrs. Lloyd Pinkston, Mrs. Dan Wright and Mrs. Fred Reeves.
