From Roseburg th7 also made a trip to Phoenix, Ariz. O'Neil and Bruce drove from Alaska to the states, making the trip In about six days. Mra. O'Neil had tade the trip earlier by plane. Road conditions on the Alcan high way were reported very good. O'Neil aaid tourist courts were available all the way and no chains were used the entire trip. Worst road conditions were encountered from Mullan. Ida., to Couer d'Alene.
