Earl Lindquist. C. R. Brad ford, consultant on X-ray services of the Oregon Tuberculosis and Health association, is conducting the meetings, the first of which was held last night at Drain. According to Mrs. W. F. Amiot, executive secretary of the DouKlas County association, the schedule calls for three meetings Monday, Feb. 20. The first scheduled at Days Creek at 2 p.m. at the Das Creek store will be a house-to-house canvassers' meeting. At 7 p. m. Bradford will speak to the yonviUe Lions club at tne (.roars motel, half a mile south of town, and at 8 o'clock a house-to-house canvassers' meeting will be held at the same place. On Tuesday. Bradford will to the Sutherlin Lions club noon at Walt's cafe, and at 1 p.m . In Oakland at the Vets Memorial hall. A house-to-house canvassers' meeting will be held for both Oakland and Sutherlin. On Wednesday at 2 p. m., a house-to-house canvassers' ing will be held in Yoncalla at the home of Mrs. Jean Cowan. Two chest X-ray survey units will drive to Douglss county on Sunday, Feb. 26. to open the following day simultaneously at Drain and burg. Schedule Listed The schedule for the state unit follows: At Drsin in the high school building Monday and Tues day, Feb. 27 and 28, from 9 a. m. to 5 p. m., and on Wednesday, March 1, from 12 noon to 8 p. m. Mrs. Hugh Whippils and Mrs. Griswold are co-chairmen. At Oakland in the Vets Memo rial building Thursday, March 2, from 9 a. m. to 5 p. m.; Friday, March 3, 12 noon to 8 p. m., and Monday, March 6, from 9 a. m. to S p.m. Mrs. John Edwards is in charge. At Canyonville Tuesday, March 7, the place to be announced, from 10 a. m. to 6 p. m., with Mrs. George Binder and Mrs. H. M. An derson, co-chairmen. It was so well liked that it haa been kept over and will be shown again this coming Sunday evening. It is reputed to be one of the very best church films yet produced by sny denomination. Ore., I.W The people of Barlow have asked the state highway commission to place a market here, designating the site of a historic cemetery. The cemetery, which lies off the highway, contains the graves of Sam Barlow, founder of the oM Barlow road, and some of lis family.
