Here are two easy but delicious ones: Spiced Cranberry Psar Sauce (Makes about 1 auart sauce) One cup sugar, 1 cup water, few wnoie cloves, piece suck cinna mon, 1 tablespoon wine vinegar, 1 firm pear, peeled and diced, 2 cups iresn cranberries. Combine sugar, water, spices and vinegar in saucepan and bring to boil. Add diced pears and cook gently for 3 ot 4 minutes. Add cranberries and continue cooking until berries pop, about S minutes. Cool in saucepan. Chill oeiore serving. Ts'iqy Cranberry Relish Two cups fresh cranberries, 1 lemon, quartered ana seeded, ft cup sugar, 'A cup honey. Put fruit through food chopper. Then you'll be safe. Here's a new lemon pie recipe: Famous Lmn PI (Makas an 9-lnoh pi) Three tablespoons cream-style cornstarch, 1 1-2 cup sugar, 1-4 cup lemon Juice, 1 tablespoon grated lemon rind, 3 eggs, sep arated, 1 1-2 cups boiling water, 1 (9inch) baked pie shel. 6 ta blespoon extra sweet white corn syrup. Combine cornstarch, sugar, lemon Juice and lemon rind. Beat egg yolks; add to cornstarch mix ture. Gradually add boiling wa ter. Heat to boiling over dicrct heat and then boil gently 4 min ute, stirring constantly. Pour Into pie shell. Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry. Gradually beat in the white syrup.
