ment's loyalty program uncon
stitutional. The request was made In an
appeal filed by the joint Anti
fascist Refugee committee, a
New York City organization
which has been labeled subver
sive by the attorney general, i
The appeal said that designa
tion has had an injurious effect
on the group's activities. It said
Its work Is to assist antifascist
Refugees who had fought against
General Franco in Spain.
The committee was among 90
organizations called subversive
In 1947 by the then attorney gen
eral, Tom C. Clark. Clark now is
a member of the supreme court.

Attorney's officials prepared to
seek a murder indictment today
against a high school boy in con
nection with the slaying of his
mother.
Witnesses told a coroner's jury
yesterday that the youth, Piilllp
CammacK Jr., 15, related he ac
cidentally shot his mother and
then fired two more shots into
her head because he "didn't want
his mother to suffer any pain."
The jury recommended Cam
mack be held on a charge of
murdering Mrs, Marie Cam
mack, 40, mother of five children.
Assistant State's Attorney Wil
liam Brumllk said the state had
not yet decided about the death
penalty.

The pioneer banker died at his
