visits to Rebekah lodges in
Douglas county Mrs. Lela Ram
sey of Madras, president of the
Rebekah Assembly of Oregon
visited the Roseburg Rebekah
. lodge Tuesday night at the regu
lar meeting at the I. O. O. V.
hall.
Preceding the . meeting Mrs.
Ramsey was honored witn a
turkey dinner by members and
visiting Rebekahs. In charge of
the dinner were Mrs. Ralph Rus
sell, Mrs. William Curtis, co
chairman, Mrs. Ted Bloom, Mrs.
Hattie Guerin.
A holiday motif decorated the
tables. Alpha Zeta Theta Rho
girls assisting with serving were
Bea Fridlund, Janice Wilhite,
Marilyn Nickens, Roberta John,
Virginia Cyrus, Sue Wissing and
Elva Bovd.
The lodge meeting followed
with Mary Alice Mortenson,
noble grand and Golda Niekell.

lodge, Port Angeles, Wash., was

mitted by transfer. The Rebekah
degree was conferred on Betty

Joint installation of new offi
cers with Philetarian lodge will

Ethel Swayze was appointed to
purchase a Christmas gift for
the adopted sister in the l.u.u.r.
home. A gift was given the visit
in president, Mrs. Ramsey by
Mrs. Bailey.
The last Rebekah meeting this
year wil be December 27 at 7:30
p.m. All Rebekahs are invited
with sack lunch to follow the
neeting.
