Two Receptions Honor Newlyweds At G. C. Blake Home Near Roseburg Honored at the G. C. Blake home, 2540 N. Stephens street, last week were Mr. and Mrs. Donald E. Allen, who were wed In Seattle, Nov. 28. Mrs. Allen is the former Genevieve Blake, eldest daughter of the host and hostess. The Blake home was decorated with fall greenery and clusters of silvered wedding bells. One of the affairs, held Thursday evening, Dec. 8, was from 8 until 10, a reception for the Umpqua National forest service person nel. Mr. Allen is district ranger, with headquarters at Big Camas. The mantle was arranged with a forest scene depicting the Big Camas Ranger station where the couple will make their home dur ing the summer months. The service table was covered with a lace cloth and centered with an arrangement of yellow chrysanthemums flanked with white' tapers.
