Roller-Skating Show Dated At Rolletta Rink "Rolling to Rhythm." a roller- skating show designed after the world famous "Ice Follies," will be presented In Roseburg Dec. 17 and 18 at the Rolletta Roller rink, announced E. G. Erickson, rink owner. Erickson said this will mark the first appearance in Roseburg of this type show. A total of 15 acts, complete with colorful costumes and spe cial lighting and staging, will be presented both days. The 21-per-son cast, Portland's Oaks skating troupe, includes i noys and nine girls. Also slated for participa tion are 15 local roller skaters. The 15 acts cover manv of the various novelty and fancy skating antics with which skating fans are familiar. Individual perform ers will provide comedy, baton twirling, tumbling and rhythmic numbers, with pairs and groups slated to perform figure skating, ballet and musical numbers. ., According to Erickson. manv of the show's participants are West Coast Regional champions, excelling In Individual figure skating, speed skating and pair and group class skating. Lamanno undoubtedly will be the No. 1 catcher needed by the Pacific Coast league club since Grasso was drafted by the Wash ington Nationals. The move will give the "Y" force more office space, Yoder said, with the possibility that YMCA groups will be able to hold future meetings In the arm ory location. The YMCA office was formerly In Cox biuldlng, across from the Indian theater. Yoder also announced the men's exercise hour will be held In the armory gymnasium, in stead of the junior high school.
