The pictures were selected and arranged by Miss Margaret Carr, art supervisor and instructor at Junior High. The entire exhibit won the praise of the hun dreds visiting the show. PAUL HELWEG ENTERTAINS BRIDGE CLUB ON TUESDAY Mrs. Paul Hclweg was a most gracious hostess Tuesday after noon, when she entertained her bridge club at a one-thirty o' clock dessert-luncheon at her at tractive home in Laurelwood. The prettily appointed table was centered with a pink African vio let plant flanked by pink can dles. Covers were placed lor Mrs. I.. K. Cornwell, Mrs. H. C. We!;s, Mrs. Chester Morgan, Mrs. Har rle W. Booth, Mrs. H. H. Turner, Mrs. W. J. Hutch, Mrs. Maurice J. Newland, Mrs. R. D. Coen and the hostess, Mrs. Helweg. Contract bridge was in play during the afternoon with high and low score to Mrs. Wells. CHAPMAN-LEWI S-BAUM BRIDGE-LUNCHEON IS CHARMING AFFAIR One of the loveliest parties of the month was the one o'clock bridge-luncheon given Wednesday by Mrs. W. F. Bulmer A wedding of Interest to resi dents of Myrtle Creek was that of Miss Rita Gail Maddox and William H. Bulmer, both of Myr tle Creek, Sunday afternoon, Nov. 27, at 2 o'clock at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ross C. Maddox. The single ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. A. R. Rut ledge in the presence of relatives and friends of the couple. The bridegroom is the son ot Mr. and J. K. Bulmer of Posey, W. Mrs. Va. Maid of honor was a cousin of the bridegroom, Miss Bobble Jean Bulmer, who wore a rose crepe dress with a white carnation cor sage. Miss Bulmer was also In charge of the guest book. Miss Evelyn Rutledge sang "1 Love You Truly." Dean Maddox, brother of the bride was best Picture by Bud Mason At the reception which follow ed the wedding cake was first cut by the bride and bridegroom and later served by Mrs. Mildred Bulmer and Mrs. Yvonne Dan iels, the former an aunt of the bridegroom. Following the reception the couple left for a week in Cali fornia and upon their return will make their home in Roseburg for the present. MRS. Davidson, of Coqullle, at a pre-Thanksglving dinner at their home Wednesday, Nov. 23. On Thanksgiving day, they drove lo Medford to attend the Pear Bowl game between Pacif ic University and the California Aggies. They were accompanied home by their younger son, Alan, who is a member of Pacific Uni versity team, and who spent the weekend visiting them.
