JOSEPH'8 ALTAR SOCIETY HOLDS BUFFET DINNER, ELECTS OFFICERS Circle No. 2 of St. Joseph's Al tar Society held Its November meeting Monday evening, No vember 14 at the country home of Mrs. Sandy McDonald. Mrs. Carl Lundgren was assisting hostess and the affair was pot luck dinner. The Rev. Forrest Hill, pastor of the Nazarene church, read the ceremony at 7 o'clock in the pres ence of relatives of the couple. Fall flowers formed the back ground for the ceremony. The bride, given In marriage bv her father, wore a street length blue crepe-backed satin gown and carried a bouquet of pink carna tions tied with white satin stream ers. Her only ornament was a three-strand pearl necklace, a gift of her mother. Miss Marta Patterson of Dlx onvllle, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. She wore an aqua taffeta dress. The bride's mother wore a navy blue outfit A reception followed the cere mony and the bride's table was covered with a lace cloth, center ed with a two-tiered wedding cake which was topped with a minia ture bridal couple. The cake was first cut by the bride and bridegroom and was served by Mrs. Bertha Patterson, aunt of the bride. Ices were serv ed by Mrs. Susie Oar and Mrs. Ida Ellis served coffee and punch.
