Sunday Service To Launch U. B. Building Fund , Dr. C. P. Gates, of Portland, will be the guest speaker Sun day morning at the North Rose burg church, on the subject, "A Mind to Work." Dr. Hates is the district superintendent for the Oregon district of the Evangeli cal United Brethren church, with which the North Roseburg church is affiliated. The Thanksgiving Sunday ser vice will also mark the launch ing of the church's new building fund. The congregation meets in a temporary chapel in the par sonage basement at present, but plans are being made for the erection of a church edifice as soon as the growth and needs of the congregation warrant It. Another feature of the morning service will be the first perfor mance of two children's choirs. The children's choir, which in cludes boys and girls up to the third grades, will sing In the Sun day school hour. The junior choir, with boys and girls from the fourth grade to the eighth, will sing during the morning wor ship service. It is planned that the latter choir will become a regular feature of the morning church services in the future. Thanksgiving Sunday will be climaxed by the Youth Fellow ship Thanksgiving supper at 6 p. m.
