Arts And -Crafts Show Planned By
Woman's Club For This Month
Plans were outlined for the
Arts and Crafts show to be spon
sored by the Roseburg Woman's
club at a meeting Tuesday at the
Methodist church with Mrs. J. M.
Boyles, president, In charge of the
business session. Mrs. Lucien
Cobb, chaplain, gave the invoca
tion. Reports were given by Mrs.
Earl Plummer, Mrs. P. E. Beaver,
Mrs. Vance Eager, Mrs. Vernon
Keel and Mrs. E. M. Bleile.
. The Arts and Crafts show will
be held Nov. 29-30, and will also
have hobbles on display. A special
table will be arranged for the
sale of beautifully wrapped
Christmas gifts, fancy work,
aprons and jellies. Mrs. Myron
Haines will act as chalrmaaT
Plans are also being outlined
to have a garden department of
the club and further announce
ments regarding this department
will be made in the near future.
Miss Marie Martens, program
chairman for the day, introduced
Representative Paul Geddes, who
gave an excellent talk on ''What
Women Can and Should Do About
Legislation."

(6 servings)
One envelope unflavored gela
tine, 1-2 cup cold water, 3-4 cup
hot water, 1-2 cup grated Ameri
can cheese, 1 tablespoon lemon
juice, 1 teaspoon salt, 2 teaspoons
grated onion, 2 tablespoons chop
ped parsley, l i cup linely diced
celery, 1 cup finely diced cooked
leftover ham or chicken, 1 cup
cooked broken macaroni, 1-2 cup
mayonnaise or saiao dressing.
Soften gelatine in cold water.
Add hot water; stir until gelatine
is dissolved. Add grated cheese;
stir until softened. Stir in lemon
juice, salt and grated onion. Chill
until mixture is the consistency
of unbeaten egg whites. Stir in
parsley, celery, ham, macaroni
and mayonnaise. Turn Into Iarc;e
or individual molds and chill un
til firm. To serve, unmold and
garnish with salad greens and
olives.
