Grand Jury Having
Extra Long Task
The Douglas county grand jury
is continuing is session and will
probably not be able to wind up
its work before Tuesday of next
week, according to District At
torney Robert G. Davis.
The grand jurors are having
one of the heaviest slates on re
cord to consider. Davis said that
more than 35 cases are ud for

The work of the jurors was
extended by the death of Stanley
James Tucker, 47, of Springfield,

body was found last Sunday

visit here at noon Saturday, Nov.
12, enroute from Eugene to Med
ford on a tour of the west. Bruce
