A forgery complaint was issued
Wednesday by the district at
torney's office against a fireman
accused of seeking to defraud the
city of Portland Employes Credit
union.
Wesley Jay Myers. 24, was
named in the complaint, an out
growth of an investigation
launched by the .credit' union
when it discovered that sevenil
borrowers, using automobile ti
tles as security, listed the same
address.
The credit union said it was
looking into reports that junked
automobiles were bought and the
certificates of title used as the
basis for loans.
The specific charge against
Myers is forgery of an automo-

riding left the highway and
