It's strictly a translation of the soap-opera into the thrillcrdiller claslficatlon, grooved for a masculine market. First episode on KRNR was Monday, October 17, with a trio of heroes, who, in the space of fifteen breathless minutes had Involved themselves In enough adventure to easily absorb an hour's activity. The chapter ended of course with a dyed-in-the-wool cliff-hanger finale. The whole affair left the cast breath less. Producer-writer Morse got across some differentiation of character among his three insurance investigators: Jack Packard plays a suave leader; Jim Bowles, a westerner with an eye for femmes, and Tony Randall, a not-very-bright strongman.
