Eugene Ranked Seventh In Building For August SEATTLE (JPt Eugene ranked seventh among all the cities of Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and Utah in building work last month, the magazine Construction News Bulletin reported. The Oregon town Issued $663, 250 worth of building permits in August. It was outnumbered only by Portland, Seattle, Spokane, Tacoma, Idaho Falls, and Blark foot, Ida. Even Salt Lake City w as lower. The magazine survey showed showed that the entire six state area issued about $2,000,000 more of building permits In August than In July. In Oregon, Portland ranked first. Then came Eugene, fol lowed by Coos Bav, with $240, 031; Grants Pass, $180 292; Med ford $134,615; Corvallis, $131,030; Bend, $110,486; and Klamath Falls, $107,523. IS minutes; itir occasionally. Combine 2 tbsp. flour, tsp. salt and dash of pepper, and stir into mixture. Gradually stir in 'i cup water and cook until thickened. Cool. Mix a recipe for baking pow der biscuits using 2 cups flour. Roll out a 10"xl2" rectangle on a lightly floured surface and spread with meat mixture. Roll as for jelly roll, starting with the long side, seal edge. Bake on a baking sheat in a moder ately hot (400 degree F.) oven about 25 minutes.
