Salem Witch Convictions
In 1692 To Be Reversed
BOSTON UP) The Massachu
setts legislature has been asked
to reverse the convictions of 21
persons hanged 257 years ago.
The action would absolve 16
women and five men accused of
witchcraft In Salem in 1692. They
were hanged between June and
September of that year.
Rep. Daniel Rudsten (D-Bos-ton)
