Dr. Morris H. Roach, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, performed the impressive double ring cere mony in the presence of the im mediate families of the couple. The ceremony took place under a white lattice archway entwined with ivy and gladiolius blossoms. Huge baskets of paslel-colored gladioli were placed at both ends of the archway. A white wedding bell, tied with white satin ribbons, hung f rom the center of the arch vay. Mrs. Anna Ireland and C. F. Banish were attendants. The bride was beautiful in a navy crepe dress trimmed in white lace with a navy and white off the face hat and navy acces sories. Her only ornament was a long strand of pearls tied high at the neck on one side.
