The football aspirants will not practice tonight, as most of them will travel to Portland to witch the Shrine All-Star game. Coiches Cece Sherwood and Hod Turner are also planning to attend the All-Star contest. Last night's scrimmage was pre ceded by regular fundamentals, including blocking, ralisthentics and wind sprints. Practice will be continued Monday. The Indians wiil play five home games this year, to which season tickets will be available Wednes day, Sept. 7, at $6.00(each. A sea son ticket purchase' will entitle the holder to a reserved seat at each game. Jack Newby said the place of sale will be announced later. Medford To Play Roseburg Netters After dropping only two matches to the Roseburg Tennis club last week on their own courts, the Medford Tennis club invades Rose burg Sunday to try and continue their winning ways. The local racqueteers feel dif ferently about it and some of the men have been practicing almost every night this week. The match between Norm Moore and Tod Tibbut looks as if it will be very closely contested, according to Marlen Yoder, team manager. Moore did not play at Medford. Bill Garrison has been put in second position to again play Du gan, who trimmed him in Med iord. Garrison is out to avenge that defeat, and that will make a big difference in his play, said Yoder. Tom Jacobson or Glen Boyer is slated to tangle with Richards, the left-handed racqueteer from Medford. Tom Unci bloom and Don Debernardi complete the list of Roseburg singles players. Bruton and Miles, E. Garrison and Ran dall, and either Li nd bloom and Moore or Jacobson and B. Garri son will make up the doubles teams. The public is invited. Junior Men's Tennis Tourney In Finals The Junior Men's Tennis tourna ment reached the final rounds this week. Roy Van Horn and Larry Henninger must play G. Wilkerson and G. Henry in the semifinal round of the upper bracket before Aug. 28. Wilkerson and Henry triumphed over Mor gan and Booth 6-0,6-0, and Henn inger and Van Horn defeated Plummer and Fisher 6-0, 6-3. The winner of this match will play Jacobson and R. Stickling. D. Jacobson and R. Strickllng won their way into the finals this week by gaining a default from Raushert and Weber and then whipping R. Groves and W. Henn inger, who had gained the ec-nd round by a bye, 6-2, 6-3.
