Belgrano said he would go to the national convention in Phila delphia late in August and start a campaign against all of the national officers. He declared the Legion Is one of the most powerful organiza tions controlling the nation's economy and government. Featuring "Minute Man" service, the new station is equipped with the latest in lubrication and service equipment. Slated for installation soon is a modern portable oil change unit which will change oil anywhere on the lot while the motorist remains in his car. The heated rest rooms feature tiled floors and walls, indirect lighting end foot-operated plumbing fixtures. The station, one of two Union Oil service stations in Roseburg, will employ four persons Includ ing owner Don Johnson. Local contractors who worked on the project include Coen Plumbing, Trowbridge Electric end Roseburg Paving companies. Forest Fir Research Advisory Board Formed Director J. A. Hall. Pacific Northwest Forest and Range Ex periment station, has announced formation of the station's new forest fire research advisory committee. The committee will review per iodically the status and problems fair be held in the' United States In 1950, naming Atlantic City and Detroit as among the cities sug gested for sites. 't J ts' 1 of forest fire control In the Pa cific Northwest region for the purpose of insuring that plans for fire research will meet ex isting needs and that selection of priorities for the program of research is sound. In organizing the group, Hail emphasized that its individual members were chosen not as re presentatives of specific agencies but as individuals experienced and skilled in the techniques and research requirements of forest fire control.
