Upper back: Louie Fest. . . The Bacon family held a very enjoyable family reunion Sunday, July 3rd, at the attractive home of Mr.- and Mrs. Gerald i3acon at Umpqua. A picnic dinner was served at noon. Friends of the family called during the after noon and evening hours. Only a small group of members attended the business meeting, at which time Mrs. Rob ert Faye was appointed treasurer during the temporary absence of Mrs. Scott. A quiz game was played with Mrs. Faye winning the prize. Miss Ward and Miss Goletta Lan genberg, hostesses, served lovely refreshments to Miss Helen Ca sey, Miss Margaret Joyce, Mrs. John Schaefer, Mrs. Harold Des biens, Mrs. Robert Faye, Mrs. Paul Jenkins, members, and Mrs. Dee Schaefer of Los An geles and Miss Elizabeth Nelson of Llvermore, Calif., guests. Mrs. Schaefer was the houseguest of her daughter, Mrs. Desbiens and Miss Nelson was the guest of Miss Joyce. The August meeting will be a 7 o'clock potluck supper, August 1, at the Rodney Knott home on the North Umpqua at Winchester with Mrs. Sidney Domenlco and Mrs. Robert P. Kidder, hostesses. Members are asked to meet at 6:30 p.m. at the parish house for transportation. Members unable to attend are asked to call either Mrs. Domenlco or Mrs. Kidder early Monday morning of the meeting day.
