SUNDAY PROGRAM NOTES: "Casey, Crimo Photog rapher" visits "Quick as a Flash" at 2:30; "The Case of the Kidnaped Corpse" titles the "Nick Carter" detective-drama at 3:30 starring Lon Clark and Charlotte Manson; John Charles Thomas will be starred and Esther Williams will be the hostess when "Family Theater" presents the story "The Man 'With the Plow" at 4:30; Fay Bainter, famous stage and screen actress will be the guest of the week on "Twenty Questions" at 8, and Walter Winohell and Harriet Parsons follow in the 8:30 to 9 p. m. time period. For the fourth consecutive year, the Mutual-Don Lee Broad casting System exclusively will broadcast the description of the Annual Memorial Day 500-Mile Indianapolis Speedway Motor Clas sic. Seven broadcasting crews, headed by Bill Slater and Gene Kelly, have been assigned to cover the event. The series of broadcasts on this Memorial Day event will begin at 8:30 a. m. Monday fol lowed by more detailed descriptions at 9:30 a. m., 10:45 a. m. and again at 12:30 p. m. The addition of one more broadcasting crew than last year, when six were used, has been prompted by the greatly Increased speeds of the cars entered. One each of these crews will be located at the Speedway Pagoda, the Starting Tower, the Pits, the Backstretch and Victory Lane, while two have been assigned to the sweeping turns. MONDAY: "A Matter of Doubt" titles Monday's "Let George Do It" episode at 8 when a' mother's fear for her son's life, and the boy's unshakable desire to protect his mother, serve to complicate this latest case. At 10, "The Mysterious Trav elor" discovers a fantastic lost colony of western pioneers and explorers sealed for over a hundred years in a dark cave when he goes "Behind the Locked Door." The gun was found at Reuth er's home Tuesday night under the window through which the double-barreled blast was fired. The shot cost Reuther his right eye. The weapon was flown in a special slate police plane to Chicopee Falls, Mass., for study by its manufacturers, the Stevens Arms Co.
