New Church At Lookingglass To Be Dedicated Dedication of the new Looking glass Community Church is set for Sunday at 3 p.m., It was an nounced today by the Rev. C. N. Currier, paslor. The building, of frame con struction, was designed and largely built by its pastor. It has been under construction during the past year and a half. He said it was built with volunteer labor without outside aid. Although a community Institu tion, the church is associated with the Methodists. The Rev. S. Ray nor Smith, district superintend ent, will be principal speaker at the service. Other ministers also will be present at tht dedication. The public is invited. Sanctuary of the new church is on the main floor. Six Sunday school rooms are In the base ment, which is constructed of concrete blocks. Three Sunday school rooms are upstairs. In the basement, also, are a kitchen and a large room for community gatherings. The new church is located west of Lookingglass Store, opposite Lookingglass Cemetery. LUCK WITH FORTUNE ECCLES, Eng.. (P) Tornadic winds struck this town of 6,000 people last night, accompanied by large hailstones and a heavy rain. Water and gas mains were broken, leaving the city without normal water supplies. Winds up to 60 and 90 miles an hour blew off garage roofs and littered streets with uprooted trees. No one was hurt.
