No one is more surprised than "The Cisco Kid" himself tonight at 7:30, when he finds a notice of reward for his capture, during the adventure titled "Dead or Alive." Jack Mather stars in the tit!? role, with Harry Lang as Pancho. At 8 tonight, a most unusual assignment occupies the tal ents of George Valentine, as he is first asked to prove a man guilty of a murder charge, and, when he almost succeeds in doing that, the same man turns right around and asks to be proven innocent. "Come and Get Me" is the title of this detective-drama on tonight's "Let George Do It" episode. A epeclal coaat-to-coaat broadcast In behalf of tht U. S. Treasury Department's forthcoming Savings Bond Cam paign will be heard tonight ... 10 to 11 p. m. Top man on tht Treasury's totem-pole will be President Harry S. Tru man with a special address. Secretary of the Treasury John W. Snyder will be on the program, outlining details . of the Drive. Entertainers for the broadcast, in addition to MDL't personality stars Roy Rogers and Lionel Barrymore, will be Bing Crosby, Jack Benny, Edward Arnold, Nelson Eddy, Frank Sinatra, Esther Williams and Gene Kelly. The governors of Missouri, Massachusetts and California will also be heard on the show. Alan Ladd will be master of ceremonies, and a part of the musio for the program will be furnished by Fred Waring and his Pennsylvanlans. ' Robert Armbuster Is the musical director, and Ken Carpen ter will announce the program. Could very well be we're going on Daylight Saving Time . . . and the very minute that occurs . . . ka-whoosh goes our radio schedule again. Prepared? Upper picture shows exhibit entered by the hospital laundry, arranged by R. C. Berg, superintendent, which won a blue ribbon. Lower picture shows scene in the recreation hall, as visitors viewed exhibits and were entertained by the patients' orchestra. Yoncalla Asks For Bids For Building New High School YONCALLA School District No. 9, of Yoncalla, Is inviting biis for the construction of a new high school. Bids will be received In Yoncalla until 2 p.m., May 27, George L. Edes, clerk, announced. The building, which was de signed by Architects Freeman & Hayslip, Portland, provides for six classrooms and a gymnasium. Classrooms will consist of three general classrooms, a home-making room, library, and physics and chemistry laboratory. In addition, there will be a boiler room, toilet rooms and dressing rooms with showers, equipment drying rooms and appurtenant equipment. The structure will be construct ed on a new site. Preliminary i grading nas Deen completed ny i the district. A septic tank and disposal field will be required. The building will have dimen sions of 120 x 280 feet. It will be of varied construction, includ ing brick veneer on frame, brick veneer on concrete, and reinforc ed concrete for the 80 x 100-foot gymnasium. Polio Chapter Meeting Held; Bills Are Paid Approximately S2000 has been dispensed by the Douglas County chapter of the Infantile Paralysis Foundation during the last two months, it was announced follow ing a meeting here Friday noon. There are at present ten polio victims in Douglas County re ceiving treatment. There are no new cases. Most or them under care now are the 1948 patients, although some date back beyond mat period. in attendance at the meeting were Chairman Al Henningcr, Mayor Al Flegel, Dr. E. J.
