Coal Strike In Britain Spreads To More Mines MANCHESTER, England, May 10 (P) A Communist-supported wildcat strike spread to 20 more nationalized mines in the rich Lancashire coal fields Monday leaving a total of 50 pits and 36,000 men idle. Lancashire normally produced 300,000 tons of coal a week, about one-twelfth of Britain's total pro duction of a fuel which is vital to the nation's economic welfare. The walkout began a week ago in one pit, among 260 men who wanted free coal for their own use normally given to many British miners. It spread when two foremen entered the pit on maintenance work. Miners called this "blacklegging." Only 15 mines, employing 14, 000 men, still were working in the coal rich county today. When they spend 15 billion dollars for arms and then add more billions for arms (hey just can't seem to find the money for CVAs or for housing or for social security or for real rent control." Three olher speakers echoed Wallace's criticism of the pact. They were Sen. Michele Giua, a member of the Italian senate; H.
