MEETING AT FORD HOME
The Roseburg Arts and Crafts
Club held a delightful meetino
Tuesday evening in the beautiful
out-door living room In the gar
den at the home of Mrs. Kenneth
Ford In Laurelwood. Ralph Tur
ner, president, conducted the
meeting and following the sec
retary's report, the club consti
tution was adopted.
Plans were made for the next
meeting to be held at eight
o'clock the evening of September
7 at the home of Mrs. VV. How
ard Pattlson, 836 South Pine
street, at which time a workshoo
will be discussed and a treasurer
will be elected and dues collected.
Mrs. D. L. Taylor and daugh
ter, Miss Carla Lee, and Mrs.
Ford reported on their trip to
Portland last Friday to attend
the Oregon Artists exhibit at the
Portland Art Museum for spon
sors and exhibitors. Carla -Lee
and Mrs. Ford both had exhibits.

Mrs. Ford showed ceramics; Mr.
Turner, Mrs. Pattlson and Mrs. 1
