The answer is NO!
Germany was already divided.
It was divided at the Elbe river.
That happened at Yalta. There
can be little doubt that the pur
pose of Moscow has been to make
the Elbe the western boundary of
Russia in Europe.
It is as near certain as anything
can be that what has been hap
pening in Berlin has been merely
part of the continuing Russian
purpose to drive us out of the
RUSSIAN part of Germany.

For one thing, we aren't pro
ducing enough to meet our needs.
Lack of production means:
1. Fatal weakness In a pinch.

means plenty of things. Nothing
la truer than that wo can't huve

THE mass Instinct of our people
recognizes that because of lack
of adequate production we could
get Into serious trouble. What we

are centering their activity to

the purchase of all merchantable
timber designated for cutting
upon tracts hereinafter described;
the cutting and removal of the
timber to be carried out in ac
cordance with the forest practice
rules approved on July 7, 1938,
by the Secretary of the Interior.
Each bid must state the amount
per thousand feet, board measure,
that will be paid for each species
and the total consideration which
will be paid for the timber. No
bid for less than the appraised
value will be considered. Each
bid must be submitted In dupli
cate and be accompanied by a
deposit. The deposit must be in
the form of a certified check on
a solvent bank and in favor of
the Treasurer of the United
States. The amount of the deposit
will be $5,000.00 provided the
total amount bid is over $5,000.00
and less than $50,000.00; it will
be $10,000.00 provided the total
amount bid Is over $50,000.00 and
less than $100,000.00; it will be
10 of the amount bid when the
bid exceeds $100,000.00 If the
total amount bid is less than
$5,000.00, the deposit shall be the
amount of the bid. The deposit
will be returned to unsuccessful
bidders; applied as a part of the
purchase price of the successful
bidder; or that portion of the de
posit, representing the minimum
required by law, shall be retained
as liquidated damages if the high
bidder does not execute contract
and furnish satisfactory bond
within thirty days of acceptance
of the bid or cannot furnish evi
dence of his ability to comply
with the local marketing require
ment. This evidence must be sub
milted with the bid and shall
conform with the requirements
as sot forth in this advertise
ment. In sales over $10,000.00, the
successful bidder will tie required
to furnish a sworn financial
statement, in duplicate, showing
ability to fulfill the terms of the
contract. A bond on all sales will
be required in an amount com.
puled at the rale of at least -20
per cent of the first $10,000.00 of
the bid, plus 10 per cent of any
additional amount of the bid In
