In feminine shoe fashions. San
dals and patents and color com
binations. And higher heWs are in
vogue, too, according to a survey
of Ftoseoutg shoe stores.
In sandals, women are wearing
patent leather, doeskin, or color
combinations of two tones. The
Johansen stvle with ulatloi m soles
are popular, with genuine reptile
trim over a doeskin vamp.
Always popular, black patents
are coming into their own this
season. Stvle trends are away
from plastics and back to patent

ish for women's shoes,

Red is another popular color for
sandals this spring.
The dressiest shoes, say local
