Rotarians in bus.'ness should
strive constantly toward the
adoption of codes or standards
of practice based upon the Ro
tary code of ethics in their pro
fessional or craft associations,
the Roseburg Rotary Club was
told Thursday by Bruce A. Mollis,
chairman of the vocation service
committee.
"To the non-Rolarian, a Ro-
tarian is Rotary," he said. "The
Rotarian in uslness is Judged
on how well he practices the
Rotary code. It's definitely an
individual responsibility to strive
constantly for business service
to society on high standards."
Rotary International, he ex
plained, is based on a cross-section
of business occupations, with
more than 80 major classifica
tions and almost 2,000 minor clas
sifications. George Marshall, In a "five
minute talk," told of his "unprof
itable" experience as a gold
minor in Alaska and the Yukon,
40 years ago.
