Oakland Logger
Richard Harrison Berry, t!0, of
Oakland, Ore., died Friday in
Eugene from injuries suffered
Friday, July 13, when he was
struck by a falling snag. He wan
employed as a bucker for Forrest
Solomon, logging contractor.
Born in Kansas, Nov. 4, 1S85,
he came to Oregon from Call-
lornla early tms year.
Surviving are three sons and
five daughters: Robley Berry in
California; William, of Cave
Junction; Cleo, serving in the
navy; Mrs. Lorene Regler, Esta-
caua; Mrs. Irene somerviile, ami
Misses Earlcne, Evylon and Elea
nor Berry, all of Oakland. He
leaves nine grandchildren. ,
Funeral services will be hold
at the Community church in Oak
land at 2 P. M. Sunday, conducted
by Rev. J. K, Howard. The body
