Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Fullerton,
prominent Roseburg residents,
celebrated their golden wedding
anniversary Tuesday evening,
December 19, at the home of
their son-in-law and daughter,
Mr. and Mrs. Adrian Fisher, in
Laurelwood, with about thirty
relatives and close friends in at
tendance. The holiday motif was very at
tractively carried out in the
rooms, while the dining table,
covered by a very beautiful cloth,
was centered by a bowl of gold
colored chrysanthemums, tall
ivory tapers and a lovely deco
rated wedding cake.
Mrs. Clyde Fullerlon, a daugh
ter, poured and Mrs. Jack Kirk
ham, Portland, another daughter,
served the wedding cake. Many
beautiful gifts and cards were
presented to the guests of honor.
Ida May Howard and J. B.
Fullerton were married in Can
yonville, December 19, 1894, and
resided there until moving to
Roseburg about 20 years ago.
They make their home at 824
Templin street. They are mem
bers of the Methodist church and
Mr. Fullerton is Douglas county
bailiff.
Mr. and Mrs. John Arzner, who
are now residents of Riddle, were
married on the same date as the
Fullertons and had hoped to
spend the day with them, but
were unable to be present.
The Fullertons are the parents
ot eleven children, ten of whom
are living and include: Mrs. Ethel
McMullen, Portland;. Corwin Ful
lerton, , Roseburg; Mrs. J. L.
Roberts (Claire) San Francisco,
and her twin, Clyde Fullerton,
Roseburg; Ralph Fullerton,
Salem; Louis J. Fullerton, Rose
burg; Mrs. Adrain Fisher, .Rosc
burg; Mrs. Jack (Ruth) Kirk
ham, Portland; Emmett Fuller
ton, naval air forces serving on
a carrier in the Atlantic, and his
twin, Mrs. Kenneth (Emma)
Good, of Redding, Calif.
Mrs. Good, of Redding and Mrs.
Kirkham, of Portland, were pres
ent for the anniversary celebra
tion in addition to the members
of the family residing here.
The Fullertons have ten grand
children: Bob and Delmar Mc
Mullen. both of the U. S. navy
and the former being home on
leave and present at the celebra
tion; Mrs. Cecile Roberts Ra
monzeo and Llo"d Roberts, San
Francisco; Jerry and D'Ann Ful
lerton, Larry Fisher and Mollie
Fullerton, all of Roseburg; La
Donna Kirkham, Portland and
Roger Good, Reddine, Calif. The
Fullertons also have one great
granddaughter Roslie Ramonzeo
and one great-grandson, Dickie

nerformed at one-forty-five o'
clock by Rev. Mr. Sconce.
The bride wore a blue suit with

hostess. Mrs. Mills, with Mrs.
Ruth Reece and Mr. Mills Join

HOLIDAY PARTY
The Twelve and Won club en
joyed its annual Christmas party
at a delicious potluck luncheon
Tuesday at the home of Mrs. Eu
nice Sory. The holiday motif was
carried out in the decorations.
Bernardine Princen acted as San
ta Claus and presented a gift to
each member and guest.
A short busin"ss meeting was
held and Mrs. Hargis was wel
comed into the ciub as a new
member. Visiting and games were
emoyed with Margaret Ritzman
winning the high prize and Mary
Princen winning the low prize.

na Trozelle, Mrs. Catherine Fest,

anniversary at a large and dd
lightful affair from two-thirty to
five o'clock Friday, December 15,
at' their home on West First
street, at which time their five
children were present.
A beautiful lace cloth covered
the table, which was centered by
a bouquet of gold-colored chry
santhemums from Mrs. E. H.
Verrell. A three-tiered decorated
wedding cake was flanked by tall
gold-colored tapers. Beautiful bou
quets of chrysanthemums, grown
by a daughter, Mrs. Ernest Trus
sell, were arranged about the

Lois Ross, son and daughter, of
Rev. and Mrs. W. Ross, sang.
Mary Emma Wilson and Albert
A. Niday were married at Inde
pendence, Kansas, December 15,
1894. Mr. Niday was born in 1865
at Calhoun, Mo., and Mrs. Niday
was born in Smith county,
Kansas, 1877.
They are the parents of nine
children, five of whom are living
and include: Mrs. Ernest (Mar
garet) Trussell, Roseburg; Fran
cis C. Niday, Roseburg; Mrs.
Floyd (Evelyn) Hagerty, Olym
pia, Wash.; George M. Niday,
Roseburg, and Mrs. Glendon
(Edna) Davenport, Milwaukie,
Ore. They have nine grand
children, Kenneth Hagerty, now
stationed with the U. S. army in
France; Cyril Hagerty, stationed
with the armed forces in Calif.;
and Floyd Epperly, also with the
armed forces in California, and
Glenda Anne and Austin Daven
port, of Milwaukie; Darlene and
Marlanna Niday, Tacoma, and
Patricia and Albert Nlday, Rose
VThe Nidays had n visit by the
granctson, cyni i-tagerty, on
December 6, while he was en
route to his base in California.
This was the first time they had
seen him in six years.

Mr. and Mrs. Niday were resi
dents of Oklahoma until 1911,
when Mrs. Niday and the chil
dren came to Rosenurg in April
and were joined the following
September by Mr. Niday, who
operated a ranch in Garden Val
ley from that time until two
years ago, when he retired and
moved to Roseburg. He engaged
in work In the oil fields in Okla
homa and since that time was
engaged in farming.
