milk survey made by the state
health board.
The only figures released by
the board were those from Pen
dleton and Baker. Pasteurized
milk in Pendleton rose from 53
to 73 per cent of the federal stan
dard from July to October. In the
same period Baker's pasteurized
milk rating improved from 18
to 90. The federal health services
sets 90 per cent as "passing."
No results were announced for
Salem, Marshfield and Roseburg,
where tests also were made. Bend,
Madras, Redmond and Prineville
are now being surveyed.
