night for Carleton where she
will visit with her son-in-law and

Duncan, for a day or two be
fore going on to Portland for a
short stay with her sister, Mrs.
Jessie Bell. She will be met there
by Mrs. Lillie Farmer of Rose
burg and the two ladies will then
go via Northern Pacific train to
New York City for a monthte
visit. On advice of the train dis
ptcher they are traveling by the
northern route to avoid the travel
congestion found on the lines
further to the south. ?
