THREE 0) Society and Clubs By LOTUS KNIGHT PORTER NUTRITION CLASSES TO ORGANIZE FRIDAY" Women and men, who are 18 years of age and over, Interested in taking the nutrition course to be offered here by the Red Cross, are asked to attend a', meeting Friday night, February 13, at 7:30 o'clock at the Justice court room at the courthouse. Registrations will be taken at that time and those signing up for the classes will ho assigned to their respec tive classes to begin next week. Two evening and one afternoon classes will be organized. Miss Genevieve Eastling, Miss Frances Welch and Mrs. Margaret Wat kins will be Instructors. The course will be 20 hours. All per sons planning to take the canteen course, must take the nutrition course first and secure their cer tificate In same, before they will bo allowed to take the canteen course. Just as soon as the nutri , tlon course is completed the can teen course will be offered. MRS. GREEN IS HOSTESS TO CLUB SUTHERLIN, Feb. 12. The Past Noble Grand club met in the Methodist church parlors Wednes day afternoon' with Mrs. Hazel Green as hostess. Mrs. Belle Cook, Mrs. Ruth Manning and Mrs. Ade laide Cooper won the game prizes and Mrs. Bertha .Barge the penny prize. . The Brownies troop of the Girl Scouts held their last meeting., for the . month of January at the home of their troop leader, Mrs. John Madsen. Agnes Pleuard was hos tess at that meeting.
