Instruction In
First Aid Listed
The Firs! Aid Instructors club
. received a report of numerous
activities at the meeting attend
ed Monday by 18 members. The
meeting was conducted by Ray
Paralow and Jack Uobertson.
Alvln Knudtson reported that
10 police reservists of the civilian
defense committee had been en
rolled for a 10-weeks course of
instruction. Hoy Hufham will as
sist Mr. Kudtson In conducting
the weekly classes for the police
reserves.
Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Metzger are
organizing a class at Suthcrlin,
meeting Sunday evenings.
Mrs. Tom Parkinson and Mrs.
Roy Young will conduct a class
I at Drain, beginning next wee.
The business and professional
. women's club in Ruse-burg has
o.sked for a class and Alan Reich
and Mrs. Geralillne Sheehey were
assigned as instructors.

requested that Instructors be

for the duration," Davis com
mented, "and the Hoboette cards
will be taken away from any girls
or women who don't give up their
wandering within three weeks."
Davis estimated 10,000 mem
bers of the Hoboette order were
on the road, hopping from here to
there after brief stops for work
as waitresses, chewing gum girls
or in homes.
