hour ahead of her appointment.
She had no idea what to expect
next. A sensa of excitement, too

town. Curiosity in Carolyn was

she had some difficulty maintain

fingers were growing tired. Then
all at once he surprised her again.

from RosebUrg will go to Eugene
next Saturday and Sunday to at
tend a statewide meeting at
which James A. Hagerman of
Saskatoon, Sask., Canada, grand
sire of the I. O. O. F., will pay
an official visit to the Oregon
lodge. Only twice in recent
years has a grand sire visited the
Oregon Jurisdiction. The Eugene
committee, headed by Charles
P. Poole, has arranged sight see
ing tours, banquet, mass meet
ing and picnic, local lodge mem
bers have been advised. The pic
nic Sunday will be held at
"Swimmers Delight," two miles
east of Goshen. Delegations
from Washington and Idaho arc
expected to join with the hun
dreds of Oregon lodge members
who will be present for the meet-
ng.
