Officers af Large Affair on Tuesday
Jolnf Installation of officers for
1941 Of Roseburg Rebekah lodge,
No. 41, and Philetarian lodge. No.
8, of the I. O. O. F. took place
Tuesday evening at a large affair
at the hall.
The Rebekah business session
preceded the Installation and was
in charge of the noble grand,
Lora Darby. A committee of
three introduced Mrs. Mary E.
Wood, of Ruby Rebekah lodge.
No. 52, of Orange, Calif. Frank
Beals was admitted to the Rose
burg lodge by transfer at the De
cember 24th meeting.
Maggie Dent was elected trus
tee; Ethel Bailey, staff captain,
and Tlllie Johnson, member of
the hall committee. Lois Baker
was appointed to act as a judge
from the Rebekah lodge foT the
Odd Fellows Americanism essay
contest. The visiting committee
appointed included: Gertrude
Hatfield, Dora Schmidt and Tlllie
Johnson. It was announced that
