PRESS WILL TELL
HI-COTE STORY
According to an announcement
made today by W. T. Dink Ins, !
vice president and general sates
manager for the Richfield Oil cor
poration, his company will enter
upon one of the largest newspaper;
campaigns in Richfield history.
Two hundred and thirty western
newspapers will be used to tell
the public of the eleven western
states the new Hi-Octane story.
Large dominating advertisements, !
many in color, will be released ap- j
proximately April 22. '
According to Mr. Dinkins, new-1
paper advertising will be used as ,
the backbone of the campaign. I
It is understood that this cam- j
paign will announce the introduc
tion of a new motor fuel. Although
no official statement has been
made in regard to the character of
the new product, it is believed that
the company is prepared to offer
the motoring public a new, more
powerful gasoline which is entire
ly new to the petroleum business.
It is understood that the construc
tion of the new Richfield refinery
has made this new development
in gasoline possible.
