At a meeilng of the council last
nighl arrangements were made to
picket the shipment at a down
town dock where a ship laden with
the Iron is tied up. The council
opposes ihe shipment on grounds
the metal will be used for war pur
poses. Men and women, walking in
pairs ami bearing placards, will
form an endless chain throughout
the day as (hey take part in the
protest.
Coffee for the workers will be
provided by the Chinese Youth as

his doors.
Convinced there was a fire In
his attic. Dr. Fulton admitted
firemen, watched theiu put cut a

absent wife had saved every im
aginable scrap for 35 years. He
told them to "salvage nothing."
They did such a good job of
"salvaging nothing" in the attic
that Dr. Fulton passed out. tho
