the home of the bride's parents, in
North Drain. Preceding the cere
mony Wilford Vian. brother of the
bride, sang "I Love You Truly."
The rooms were beautifully decor
ated, the bridal couple standing
under a silver wedding bell. The
bride's parents stood with the cou
ple as it was their thirtieth wed
ding anniversary. Mary Delores
Vian acted as ringbearer for her
sister. The service was read by
Dev. E. J. Helsoth, pastor of the
Drain Church of Christ, in the pres
ence of a number of relatives and
friend. A sumptuous dinner was
served following the ceremony.
The young couple will make their
homo in Drain.
CIVIC CLUB HAS
INTERESTING MEETING
DRAIN. Nov. 21 Tho Civic club
met last Wednesday afternoon with
the president, Mrs. Ruby Thomas
in the chair. A bid was accepted
for cleaning and leveling the ceme
tery In north Drain. A reception
was given Monday night for the
new members. The Civic club will
give the "Father anil son" banquet
Nov. 30th. At the close of the
meeting the hostesses Mesdames
Snook and Vaiiey. served lovely
refreshments to the following, Mes
dames Ciorsline, Billion, Lakey,

Edes home Thursday evening. A
potluck dinner was served at seven

nionshln tournament, four six-man
football teams will contest nere
Wednesday evening on the high
school field.
Each of the teams is leader In
its countv except the entry from
Grants Pass, where the six-man
version has not been played be
fore. The southern Oregon coun
ties and one northern California
team are represented by Rogue
River, filendale, Grants Pass, and
Crescent City.
The sponsoring 20-30 club will
donate receipts to turflug the local
football field.

HURT IN ACCIDENT
Delmar Dellolt of Roseburg was
reported making satisfactory
covery today from injuries suf
fered in an automobile accident
south of Roseburg Saturday night.
DeBolt was badly bruised and suf
fered from severe shock, but had
no fractures, it was reported. He
was brought to Mercy hospital for
treatment.
