WILDUM. Nov. 11. Mr. and Mrs.
T. E. Grue have returned to Wil
bur, following a three weeks' stay
A in Winchester Bay attending to
property interests.
Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Mackey, of
Divide, and Mr. and Mrs. Artie Dll
gan and two sons, George and Al
vin, of Cottage Grove, returned
home following a visit with Mrs.
Mai key's sister, Mrs. Frank Porter,
and family.

who have been renting Overland
Orchards, which were sold last
week, are leaving soon for Los An
geles to reside.
Craig Short,- student at Linfielil
college, spent the weekend visit
ing his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stan
ley Short.
Dr. Walter Chapman, of Wallsen
berg, Colo., spent Sunday visiting
old friends hero.
Floyd McKay anil Miss Vivian
Thorpe, of Eugene, were dinner
guests Sunday of the former's
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. D. P.
McKay.
Mrs. J. Frank Cunningham and
small daughter, of The Dalles, spent
Friday visiting Mr. and Mrs. Ed
Kussell.
v Mr. and Mrs. Harry Daird and
s-. daughter, Doris, spent Sunday in
j'.ugene visiting tneir son, Harry,
Jr.. who recently underwent a tou
sllectomy. John Brant left Monday for bis
home in Winchester Bay, following
a few weeks-visit here. '
Tlio Hill children are out of
school this week on account of
whooping cough.
James LaKaut Is reported 111 of
a cold.
Mr. Barneburg spent Saturday at
the Royce Busenbark home. Also
guests there included Mr. and Mrs.
A. I. Brook, of Wimor. Mr. Brook
was a member of the school board
at Wimer, vhere Mr. Barneberg
taught last year.
Itichard Sands Is out of school
this week on account of illness.
Harry Hill, of Creswoll, spent the
week-end with his family hero.
Mrs. Pope, who has been in Kan
sas visiting her mother, expects to
leave this week for home, as her
mother pasued away a few days
ago.
Mrs. Jess Russell is reported Im
proved, following a severe illness.
