open to see all the goodness of

and its beauty that ho could

food supplies and equipment were
summoned ' by radio, their only
means of communication, and were
received promptly.
Procedure of fighting such a fire
was explained. - Fire lines, or
trails, are cut then a patrol with
a portable radio transmitting set
covers the fire lines and reports
the locations where tbe fire has
crossed the protection lines. Upon
receipt of this information men
are sent out with portable pump
ers to stop the. new blaze. A wel
come rain and rising humidity
