Daily Devotions
. By DR. CHAS. A. EDWARDS
One of the most tremendous
things about this human life of
ours Ib the power of choice that
comes to us in it.Tho more we
think of it the more wonderful
it seems and the further stretch
the limits of Its possibilities.
Wo sometimes complnln that
we are hampered and hindered
in the things we would like to
do and be, and yet It Is true
to a degree to which tho ma
jority of us have never yet
real I zed, that our lives are
what by our choice we make
them to be. For tho glorious
opportunities of our lives we
give Thee, our God, our grati
tude and praise. For the grace
and strength and wisdom to
choose that which is best anil
highest we come to Thee. Help
us to a higher understanding,
a truer courage, a more devoted
loyalty. May we learn to ab
hor that which is evil. Amen.
