Umpqua Jat evening. Sixteen
members and their guests were
present. The feature of the pro
gram was an informal talk by Rev.
Perry Smith, who spoke on the Im
portant and unusual "high lights"
of his trip abroad this summer
where he attended the dedication
of battlefields and cemeteries as
a member of the American ele
pntlim of the battle monuments
commission.
