Advance Ticket Sale Opens
For Baseball Game in
Roseburg Sunday.
Having the double purpose of
raising needed funds and assuring
a crowd of supporters for Sun
day's game, the American Legion
Junior baseball committee is today
starling an advance sate of tickets
for the contest at Finlay field Sun
day afternoon between the Kose

the team handleis .ire very an
xious tu have a laige. attendance of
fans to lend encouragement to the
tam which Is in a veiy tough spot
as a result ot a disastrous loss at
Corvallis last Sunday.
The advance ticket sale also Is
being held for the purpose of raTs
int; money to meet existing and fu

was badly handicapped from a fi
nancial standpoint as weather con

meet tne costs incurred.
Money Need Urgent
As a result of this condition, it
is necessary that the game to be
played Sunday attract a good gate,
as it will be the last time the learn
will play on the home field in the
state series; but expenses will con
tinue to be heavy, should the local
juniors be successful in beating
Corvallis.
